The SU welcomes your feedback at all times, and on all aspects of the SU and of the RCM. The SU represent the student voice on a variety of councils and committees in the RCM, and we can present your feedback to the relevant forum. At various points throughout the year we may email all students for feedback regarding a specific issue. The more information we receive and the more people that provide feedback, the stronger the case we can make for change and improvement, so please do get involved. If you would like to provide feedback on any issue, you can do so using the button below (this feedback is anonymous), or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Faculty reps are in place to provide feedback to your Heads of Faculty and the SU. If you have any problems, issues, or suggestions you can pass these on to your faculty reps and they will raise them with the Head of Faculty anonymously. Your reps will also coordinate the socials for the department of which there will be at least one per term. In addition, the SU officers and the Student reps make up the Student Council which meets once a term to discuss all student issues. Student reps will be chosen by the SU team in September and will be in place for the start of the term.
The Students Union is separate and autonomous from the RCM. This allows us to support and represent you, the students, in the best way possible. The SU does however receive the majority of is funding and support from the RCM and we work very closely with all departments to help make your student experience in college as enjoyable and fulfilling as it can be. The SU represents you on all levels within the RCM infrastructure, with one or more officers sitting on the following committees: Council, Senate, Welfare and Diversity Committee, Staff Student Committee, UG Programmes Committee, Environmental Management Committee, Catering Committee, Health and Safety Committee and Taught PG Programmes Committee.
